Micro Streamers

Well, we finally got some rain, probably not enough, but, we will take it. With that in mind, let's talk about fishing micro streamers and making sure you have some in your fly box at all times. The micro streamer is simply a smaller version of your regular sized bugger or streamer pattern that you love to throw when the streamer bite is on. These range from size #12-14 on average. Olive , black , white buggers work well in a smaller size and do not forget micro leeche patterns. The fish really respond to these smaller streamers, they are easy to fish on smaller fly rods such as a 4wt and super fun to fish as well. Get some of these patterns and keep them in your fly box at all times. You can also jog these on your euro set up. As always, tight lines - Shannon
