The Great Smoky Mountains region boasts a rich and diverse history, intertwining the traditions of Native American tribes, early settlers, and a deep appreciation for its natural resources. The Cherokee Nation was one of the primary indigenous groups in the area, utilizing the mountains not only for their beauty but also for their abundant wildlife and fishing opportunities.

Full Day Wade Trip (8 hours) $300.00 per person with all gear provided and lunch.
Full Day Wades for Two Anglers $500.00 with lunch and all gear provided.

THE DETAILS: BOOKINGS OPEN DECEMBER 1ST 2025 AND WILL RUN TILL FEBRUARY 1ST 2026. WE ARE RUNNING 3 SETS OF DATES FOR NOVEMBER 2026. PLEASE SPECIFY WHICH TRIP YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ON. THESE WILL BE LABELED TRIPS A, B, C.
TRAVEL WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ANGLER.
PENNSYLVANIA FISHING LICENSE WILL BE ACQUIRED BEFORE EACH TRIP.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO BRING YOUR OWN GEAR TO FISH WITH, AND WE WILL HAVE ALL GEAR, WADERS, AND EVERYTHING PROVIDED FOR YOUR STEELHEAD TRIP. IF YOU NEED GEAR, PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR OWN GEAR OR NEED US TO BRING YOU GEAR AND WADERS, ETC.
IF YOU HAVE ANY SPECIFIC DIET, PLEASE LET US KNOW AND WE WILL ACCOMMODATE THOSE MEALS.
THERE IS A $200.00 GRATUITY PER GUIDE-PER DAY INCLUDED IN THE STEELHEAD TRIP PACKAGES. (THIS IS PART OF THE $1500.00)
CANCELLATION POLICY ON THESE TRIPS- THE ENTIRE COST WILL BE COLLECTED UPON BOOKING THESE TRIPS; HOWEVER, WE REALIZE THINGS CAN HAPPEN AND COME UP DUE TO UNFORESEEN EMERGENCIES, ETC. YOU WILL BE REFUNDED FOR EVERYTHING MINUS $195.00 FOR THE LODGING, WHICH WE BOOKED IN ADVANCE. IN THE EVENT YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY, YOU CAN BOOK WITH ANOTHER TRIP DATE IF ONE IS OPEN, OR GET A REFUND OF $1305.00
WEATHER- IN THE EVENT OF BAD WEATHER FOR THE DATES YOU HAVE BOOKED, A COMPLETE REFUND WILL BE ISSUED BACK TO YOU.
WAIVERS- EACH PERSON WILL SIGN A WAIVER RELEASING ALL LIABILITY FROM Maggie Valley Fly Shop.
PLEASE PACK FOR EXTREME COLD WEATHER AND BRING LAYERS OF CLOTHING FOR YOUR TRIPS.
